WOODLANDS Blue John fluorite statement ring
A translucent purple banded fluorite from the Blue John Cavern in Derbyshire is set in simple sterling silver bezel, sitting on top of a wide and comfy ring band texturised with recycled sterling silver dust. It is embellished with three 9ct yellow gold granules.
Blue John fluorite can only be found in Derbyshire, England, where it has been mined for centuries, including at a very small scale to this day. It was handcrafted into this stunning statement ring in my studio in Chiswick.
